Prose Class at the FAC with Helen Hagemann

Our Prose class on Friday, 22^nd February continues with Worldwide Short Fiction, looking at US writer Raymond Carver. The class will read his short story “They’re not your husband” from Will You Please be Quiet, Please. Writing exercises and discussion will revolve around “minimalism and the metaphorical frame” in Carver’s work.

Further into the year, we will be looking at Carver's other short stories from What we talk about when we talk about love and Short Cuts.

Workshop Venue:  Fremantle Arts Centre, 1 Finnerty St, Freo. Room 2 Upstairs North Wing.
