Writing at the Centre conducts Poetry
and Prose Classes that are structured each
week for your writing enjoyment in Room 3 of the Fremantle Arts Centre.
THE
POETRY Class concentrates on the form, enabling new or
established poets to enhance their
poetic writing skills, knowledge and technique.
THE
PROSE Class generally looks at the short story form, but mainly writing prose.
This year the Poetry class
with Shane McCauley commences on Friday, 15th January: 1pm

commences on Friday, 5th February: 1pm
2016 will include a variety of classes and genres with
HELEN HAGEMANN - Plus we will continue with readings, critiquing and the short
forms of fiction. Tweak your creative writing skills and join our relaxed
learning environment with Prose classes each alternative Friday to the poetry.
Conducted in association with OOTA - Out of the Asylum Writers Group - all
workshops guide writers through a broad range of literary techniques, genres and
towards opportunities for publication.
Duration of course: February to December —no booking required. These are
casual classes. Cost $20 OOTA member, $25 Non-OOTA.
