· Reduced fees at Friday writing classes at Fremantle Arts Centre (Writing at the Centre)
· Network Tuesdays the weekly e-broadsheet of writing news, competitions and opportunities

· Generous discounts to a number of local businesses through writingWA
· Lunchtime
meetings before class where writers meet on a social basis, have lunch
or coffee in the leafy courtyard of the Fremantle Arts Centre Cafe.

A Brief History of our Publishing
OOTA
was formed in 1996 to provide a forum for members
to improve and grow their talent. OOTA
has published three anthologies of short fictionand
poetry: November Light, Tidelines and Friday’s Page,
and in 2005 a fourth a collection of poetry, The Weighing
of the Heart. This publication was edited by Roland
Leach, Donna Ward and Shane McCauley, with
an introduction by John Kinsella and published by
Sunline Press.
In the
past OOTA has: -

produced Finishing Line, an intensive mentoring
course
for emerging writers, funded by
ArtsWA
and supported by writingWA and the
Fremantle
Arts Centre ... and also published five anthologies of members' works.
